Antiqua, the clan of the Immemorials, and Venerabilis, the clan of the Wise, have lived in peaceful coexistence ever since the dawn of time, united in their stand against the forces of evil. Interitus, a power hungry conqueror whose sole purpose was the dominion of lesser nations, despised the tranquility the two clans shared and sought to expand his sovereignty over Antiqua and Venerabilis. A master tactician in combat and warfare, Interitus knew that the only way he could overpower the mighty fellowship between the two clans would be to find the 8 rings of Doom, which when wielded, would grant the wearer immense power and unlimited potential. The only hope for survival for the two clans is to gather and find the 8 rings before Interitus does and destroy them. Thus begins the manic race between the clans and Interitus for the rings, with Interitus determined to halt their valiant efforts by sending in his best officers to thwart their cause, the dreadful Darkcloaks.
